ABT Super Auditions

Thank you for your interest in being a supernumerary with American Ballet Theatre. All auditions will take place at The Metropolitan Opera House. Please enter at the stage door at 150 W 65th St. between Columbus and Amsterdam. Acting and/or stage experience are helpful for all roles. All those that are under 18 and wishing to audition MUST bring a copy of their current work permit from the State of New York. We are currently looking for Supers for the following:

	GISELLE Performances: May 15 – May 19, 2012 AUDITION: Sunday, May 13th at 11:00am. For those cast, the audition will be followed by a rehearsal until 1pm. Requirements: WOMEN
Young women ages 15-21, slender build Character type women, various builds and ages
	MEN
Young men, ages 15-25, slender build, various heights Character type men, various builds and ages
	LA BAYADERE Performances: May 22 – May 28, 2012 AUDITION: Friday, May 18th, at 5pm. For those cast, the audition will be followed by a rehearsal until 7:30pm. Requirements: MEN
Young men, ages 14-25, very slender build, various heights Character type men, various builds, ages, and heights
	ROMEO AND JULIET Performances: June 14 – June 20, 2012 AUDITION: Wednesday, June 6th, at 5pm. For those cast, the audition will be followed by a rehearsal until 7:30pm. Requirements WOMEN
Young women, ages 13-16, slender, dancer types Adult women, ages 18 to mature, various builds and heights
	MEN
Young men, ages 15-20, slender dancer type Men ages 18 to mature, all builds, ages, and heights
	LE CORSAIRE Performances: July 2 – July 7, 2012 AUDITION: Tuesday, June 26th, at 5pm. For those cast, the audition will be followed by a rehearsal until 7:30pm. Requirements: WOMEN
Young women ages 13-21, slender build, dancer type
	MEN
Young men, ages 15-30, slender build, various heights, some roles require heavy lifting Character type men, medium build, various ages and heights
